Sister time in Colorado

I got to see my baby sister last week and it was a wonderful unexpected treat:) It was a very last minute trip home to Colorado, but every time I see my sis I ALWAYS make time to take some pictures of her…..because she’s stunning! Here are some of my favorites:)

Personal Trainers Part 2

Last week I posted a blog about a wonderful lady I met at a networking event named Kindra Reid. Kindra is a personal trainer who was looking for some new portraits and head shots for her business. We had a wonderful collaboration and ended up doing two shoots. The first being at her gym and the second being at Magnuson Park. Her fellow trainer and friend Donna came along as well, and we had a fun morning exploring the park:)

Personal Trainers Part 1

Lately I’ve been attending some really great networking events here in Seattle, and at one of those events I had the good fortune of meeting personal trainer Kindra Reid. She was looking for some headshots and lifestyle shots for her business. I don’t normally do a lot of these types of jobs, but Kindra and I hit it off right away, and she was all about letting it be my vision. Her friend Donna came along and let me tell you these ladies are ripped! Intimidation quickly set in, but I was quickly put at ease because both of these ladies couldn’t be nicer, sweeter individuals. Kindra has a great blog documenting her fitness adventures, and provides great tips for after work out remedies. If you live in the Seattle area and are looking for someone to whip you into shape she is your girl! I know we are all thinking about summer being around the corner and trying to fit into those “Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikinis”…..and on that note…..I’m going for a run:)

Miss Mallory Anne

I’ve been taking pictures of my baby sister ever since I had a camera in my hand. It’s fun to look back at some of the early shots I took of her and see how much she has grown up. I loved taking pictures of my sister and I used her for as many photo assignments that I could get away with while I was in college. I love to take pictures of her for the simple fact that she is GORGEOUS!! A few years ago she graduated from college and moved out to LA to pursue an acting career. Not only is Mallory a brilliant dramatic actress but she has a comedic timing that is unbelievable. And as I mentioned before she is GORGEOUS:) Her laughter and her smile are infectious and I just know that she is going to have a great career. When she was in town for Thanksgiving I took the opportunity to take some updated pictures of her and somehow before the shoot was over I ended up in front of the lens….yikes! Mallory took a couple shots of me since I needed an updated photo for my new website, and I think it’s really special to be able to say that she took those portraits of me.

Mallory, I’m incredibly proud of you and I can’t wait to see what amazing things happen for you. LOVE YOU!
