So my amazing web designer and developer, Creation-1, just added a cool feature to my website. The home page now features a running slide show of some of my favorite wedding images. Underneath there is a section for clients, fans, family, etc… to leave a comment on what they think of my work, me, how I work, and a place to leave a link to to their own website. It’s a way for me to have great testimonials and to share the love with other professionals in my industry. I would love for you to take a look at some of my featured weddings under the wedding portfolio tab, take a gander at the blog I update every week, and leave a comment and share your link on the home page. I got to see my baby sister last week and it was a wonderful unexpected treat:) It was a very last minute trip home to Colorado, but every time I see my sis I ALWAYS make time to take some pictures of her…..because she’s stunning! Here are some of my favorites:)

I had an absolutely wonderful time being home in Colorado last week, and I can’t wait to share all the fun pictures I took! My trip was filled with family, friends, baby bumps, babies, puppies, squirrels and even a donkey! Can you imagine:) It was so great to see my parents and my sister again, we’ve been lucky enough to see each other quite a bit this year, and I always take the opportunity to snap a few pictures of my GORGEOUS sister. Over the next few weeks I will be sharing all the fun stories and images from my much needed trip home. Colorado is such a beautiful place, and every time I go I come back totally inspired.

Some days you just have to reflect on your “happy place.”

Every now and then (usually every other week) I start to reminisce of my families trip to the UK back in 2008. It really was the trip of a lifetime and I look back on it with some of the fondest memories of my life so far. I’ve shared a few images in past travel posts, but I think I’m going to start a new series of “favorites.” Here are two of my favorite images from Scotland that I have hanging in my house. The image on the right is my sister Mallory in Edinburgh Castle, and the image on the left is a tapestry I found in Strathpeffer while visiting the head of the McKenzie seat.

Willows Lodge Hotel June, 2010

It was such a lovely weekend. Even though it was cloudy the rain held off and I had such amazing light for the wedding on Saturday! The weather was perfectly cool, and there was an amazing mixture of aromas from the lavender, to the herbs, to the wood burning fireplaces….I was in heaven. I still can’t believe that I got paid to hang out there all afternoon…I love my job! The Bride and Groom were equally as lovely, and I can’t wait to share their images with you soon. Hope everyone had a good start to the week.
