On one of my first weddings of the season I had the couple that every photographer dreams of having! Kristie and John are both laid back, genuine, secretly hilarious people, and I spent the whole day in awe of how in love they are. The day started off quiet and reserved, both were a little timid and a little nervous. As the day progressed however the dry humor and the laughter echoed through the halls of Phinney Ridge Presbyterian.  My cheeks hurt by the time we got to the ceremony, and I wasn’t even the one getting my picture taken! Here are some of my favorite images of the day…….

Kristie wore a gorgeous Luly Yang Dress with an amazing bow and vintage broach.

John and his cohorts…I mean groomsmen…kept us laughing the whole day:)

After the ceremony we drove over to Greenlake to take some portraits.

The reception was at the Seattle Golf Club which has this Swiss Chalet feel that I absolutely adore.

The entire day was so much fun, and the perfect way to start off the 2010 wedding season. I also got to work with the divine Miss Sharlane Chase who is always a joy to work with!! Congrats again John and Kristie, I wish you all the best in love and life!
